  • We print products in both FDM and mSLA (UV resin) formats, depending on the product we may offer the option to print in either or both.

    FDM:

    Our FDM prints use standard PLA filament, typically printed in gray color. We print at 0.15 mm layer height for the best combination of quality and cost. All prints will have supports removed before shipping. The miniature will ship unprimed and unpainted; and may be in multiple pieces to ensure safe transit and allow for easier access to hard-to-reach areas during painting. As with all 3d printed miniatures, small imperfections due to support placement may require minor cleanup work, including light sanding or filling holes. We recommend applying a dedicated primer to the model before painting to ensure proper paint adhesion.

    mSLA (UV resin):

    Our mSLA prints use a premium photopolymer resin with improved toughness over standard resins, typically printed in gray color. We print at 0.03 mm layer height for the best combination of quality and cost. All prints are washed, fully cured, and major supports removed before shipping. The miniature will ship unprimed and unpainted; and may be in multiple pieces to ensure safe transit and allow for easier access to hard-to-reach areas during painting. As with all 3d printed miniatures, small imperfections due to support placement may require minor cleanup work, including light sanding or filling holes, always wear a mask when sanding or cutting resin miniatures. Some micro-supports may be left on the miniature, these are fragile and can be easily removed with tweezers or a hobby knife. Use super glue (CA glue) to bond pieces together; standard plastic cement will not work on resin materials. We recommend applying a dedicated primer to the model before painting to ensure proper paint adhesion.

  • Broadly, you should order products in the same scale as existing miniatures in your collection you want to match. Terrain is often a little more forgiving and will look acceptable to a small range or miniature scales, but again match the terrain to the scale of the miniatures you want to use the terrain with.

  • Yes, please contact us directly before placing an order to discuss alternative miniature scales. Some model and scale combinations may not be possible, or may be advised against, but we will try to work with any request.

  • Yes, if you own the rights to the STL or OBJ file, we can make a physical print for you. Please submit a request through our Custom Order Request (here).

  • Most products will be printed to order, typically orders will be printed and shipped within 2 to 5 days. Particularly large orders, or difficult miniatures may take longer.

    Shipping can vary by carrier, but typically takes 2 to 5 days to any U.S. state.
