The Dragon Warriors Z line is specifically designed to capture the anime style that inspired it. Miniature’s proportions are close to truescale except the faces are generally noticeably smaller than a truescale miniature. The designer tried to capture the relative size of each character to one another so miniature sizes vary greatly with female and child characters being noticeably smaller, and characters like Piccolo and Recoome being significantly taller than normal for their scale.
